Top 5 mythical creatures?
Dude okay this is special interest territory on the extreme end.
5. Fae folk
I have OCs based on all of these, nagas in particular make up a good amount of them very much thanks to my special interest in snakes.
1, 4, 12, & 14 for the music asks!
1) favorite band?
I flit a lot between different bands if I'm honest. The two bands I seem to go back to the most though are My Chemical Romance and Three Days Grace.
4) you know how sometimes you'll stumble upon a song and really like it but not any of the other songs by that artist? which song is like that for you?
Oh no! by Marina and the Diamonds. There's maybe or two other songs of there's that I like on and off but this is the only one that's consistent.
12) what's a really obscure song that you love?
Gonna delve into video game music for this one and say this remix by NoteBlock on youtube of Mr L's theme from Super Paper Mario. I adore this game and this is a really cool take on the theme for my favourite boss.
14) what song is the best for driving down a deserted highway at 3 am while mysterious things stare at you from the trees?
I've got 2 picks for this one. Moon Trance by Lindsey Stirling. I'm a sucker for her music and this manages to be really high energy and still slow down for that eerie feeling at points. Will make you feel like the hero of the story triumphing over the creatures of the night. Second pick is Painted Smile by Madame Macabre The lyrics for this one very much say "I am a serial killer and I'm going to come for you" in a very gleeful tone. Perfect for driving at 3am clearly.

5) What's your favorite part of drawing? (Lineart, coloring, etc...)
It really depends on how I'm feeling and on the piece. I love the sketching process though. Usually I'll fill up a page iterating on a concept or idea. So if something has caught my attention or I''ve though of something that's what I'll enjoy most. Occassionally though I'm just looking for something to keep my hands busy and in that case it's gotta be colouring. It's very chill, especially with markers. I can just kind of zone out and listen to music.
9) What is the best aspect of your art style?
The hair. No matter how I think a particular drawing is coming out I'm always happy with the hair.
10) How did you develop your art style?
Mostly iteration. Little by little my style has evolved. Usually there's something specific I want to draw, a pose, a creature, an outfit etc, that I haven't gotten figured out yet. So I'll google that thing and pull up images. Sometimes just photos other times I'll use tutorials. Mark Crilley (youtube here) was a huge influence on me while starting out.
16) What do you draw when you're feeling sad/anxious?
I don't actually draw much when I'm feeling sad or anxious, I can't get myself through a drawing without wanting to scrap it. When I do though it's usually pen doodles. Mostly little low detail thumbnail doodles of little scenes.
Freya by Brothers of Metal for the song thing!
"With her band of sisters she will conquer all All her enemies will fall Within the darkness, comfort find When in sorrow your heart bound In her tears of red gold"
You've made a new fan of Brothers of Metal with this one.
thanos and poggers!
thanos - three things that just irritate you
Hmm.... Okay this is a tough one but, in no particular order, I think I got it: 1) Loud screeching noises like a train coming to a stop. This is a physical irritation and painful in extreme circumstances. I used to commute by train and had to wear headphones to avoid meltdowns. 2) People who complain a lot about service workers. I can understand if a worker is explicitly rude but usually the complaints are things that can't be helped and the people making the complaints have never worked that kind of job. 3) People writing something harmless like a cartoon or game or other media off as childish or invaluable without bothering to try it. My dad does this with a lot of the things I enjoy and then complains that I don't talk to him enough
poggers - most recent awesome thing you did
Been sketching a lot of dragons lately. Got asked (forced) to do a logo for my Dad's friend/boss's business and he wants something styled after the Welsh dragon. I'm not happy about the circumstances of the situation but I managed to turn it on it's head by getting some practice and some sketches that I'm really proud of out of it. Said sketches are in my backlog of art to upload so they'll be coming on here in the near future.
